In today's Telco with IBM China Development Lab (CDL), Scott Morris, Program Director, IBM Collaboration Technology China Lab, has ensured us the a trip to IBM CDL Beijing well-worth its value:

1. To connect and gain second-line engineering support (the most important) directly from local Notes Domino developers and programmers in China
2. To get informed about IBM Social Business Strategies, Notes Domino Future, Sametime, IBM Docs development and much more...
3. To gain insides from IBM how to do IT businesses in China
4. To have your first step in actively engaging in doing business in China and how to interact with local Chinese people

Take these to get your business trip approved!

As a person born and grew up in Beijing/Peking, please don't hesitate to ask me any questions regarding my hometown/the mega city ;--)).

In March, Ludwig and I have visited the Lab and met the director, Tom Doucher. He welcomes all DNUG members to Beijing. Scott Morris, familiar to many, a veteran of Domino, is also currently stationed in Beijing Lab. We are all connected again.
