Es ist sicherlich grundsätzlich sinnvoll, die Datenbanken auf einem Domino Server zyklisch komprimieren zu lassen. Wenn man mit dem Basic Notes Client eine der PIM - Anwendungen (Mail, Kalender oder Aufgaben) öffnet, sieht man eine andere Optik als beim Öffnen der gleichen Datenbank im Standard Notes Client. Im Falle des Kalenders ist im Basic Client sogar noch die aus älteren Notes-Versionen bekannte Wochenansicht (linke Spalte: Montag bis Mittwoch, rechte Spalte: Donnerstag bis Sonntag) verfügbar. Feiertage, welche der Notes Anwender per Klick in seinen Kalender übernehmen kann, sind auf dem Domino Server in der NAMES.NSF gespeichert und können in der Ansicht 'Miscellaneous' -> 'Holidays' betrachtet und geändert werden. Nutzt man die Notes/Domino Umgebung schon seit längerer Zeit, sind die "mitgelieferten" Feiertagsdokumente möglicherweise schon abgelaufen und müssen per Hand aktualisiert oder neu erstellt werden. Ein Design-Update bringt nichts, da hierbei nur Design-Elemente, nicht aber Nutzdaten (= die Feiertagsdokumente) aktualisiert werden. Geht das trotzdem irgendwie auch automatisch?
