DNUG Konferenz in Dortmund: Getting to Social Business Solutions – Opening Keynote von Kevin Cavanaugh

12. April 2012 Posted by Roswitha Boldt

Social business is a redefinition of the way business process is executed by people. What has to change if we want to think of Social Software not just as a general communication infrastructure but as a key part of business processes? How will a Social Business approach help organizations gain insights into their customers and serve them better? How can Social Business improve product and service innovation and help to optimize a workforce?

Financial institutions, health care organizations, governments, stores, and industries are using social techniques to change the way they do business and better compete. In some cases, social tools are helping these organizations become more global. In other cases, those same tools are helping organizations maintain and enhance local contact. The technology of social business has to change and expand to meet these needs. New types of social networking, content management and analytics will be needed and new frameworks will be needed to create useful applications.
